About Us

For as long as I can remember, my dad had a 1956 Chevy Bel-Air. Though I didn’t even know a Jeep from a Cadillac at this age, I knew this car was something special. My father put so much love and care into that car. Sometimes I would even go out to the garage and watch as he finely tuned its engine to get it up and running again. I knew nothing about cars, but I could feel my dad’s passion for this classic. The Bel-Air continued to play a big role in my life growing up. When I graduated high school it was the car I drove away to begin the next chapter of my life.

My Dad’s passion for this car was contagious. That is why when I opened my shop I wanted to pay homage to that same passion. Bel air in French translates to “Beautiful Atmosphere”. This is a very fitting name because I believe clothes not only affect us, but can affect the atmosphere around us. When we feel beautiful, that beauty and confidence can exude from us like an aura. I used to work in retail and have many memories of seeing women’s eyes light up as they tried on a new dress or the perfect pair of jeans. It was there that I learned clothing can be something powerful. After leaving, I wanted to continue to help others express their inner beauty through their clothing. That is why I created this store, so I can reach out to other women within the community to help them create their own beautiful atmosphere.
